About The Song
Luna’s first trip to the U.S. was already full of big moments, but our road trip from Atlanta to Nashville was something special. There’s just something about that city—the quiet kind of magic that makes songs fall out of the sky if you’re lucky.
We wrote Someone Else in a backyard just outside town, where deer wandered into the clearing each morning like clockwork. The song is about the space between who we are and who we might become. It wrestles with fear, acceptance, and the possibility of change—about seeing the world through someone else’s eyes, and maybe even learning to love your own reflection along the way.
It’s about fear, self-doubt, and the quiet courage it takes to imagine a different life—not to escape your roots, but to see the world (and yourself) in a new light. There’s vulnerability in that reflection, but also hope. As the lyric says, “maybe one day I’ll see the colors”—a reminder that it’s never too late to grow into the person you’re meant to be.
